HiPEC –High Performance Protein Production in Eucaryotic Cells

Our HiPEC Technology stands for extremely effcient production of recombinant proteins up to Gram Scale. It resides on a hollow fibre (HF) cell cultivation system that allows for high density cultivation of many eukaryotic cells. Optimum cell growth and productiveness is achieved by supplementation of specific cytokine cocktails to the cultures. Thereby we can boost expression yields and significantly improve results with difficult-to-handle cell lines. Once stable expression is established within a HF unit it will generate up to 100 MG of target protein a week. The continous cultivation process requires low lab space and hands-on time. High level of secreted target protein in the culture superantants simplifies down stream processing and purification.
